Maytag Comfort
Your home is the center of your universe. It’s where you take care of your family, find solace from the outside world, cultivate your hobbies and bring friends together. While not often top of mind, your furnace plays an important role in keeping your home comfortable. Maytag understands how valuable your home is to you, and therefore offers you the Maytag compact gas furnace.

Your Maytag gas furnace has been evaluated with the Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency scale (AFUE) and meets the Energy Star guidelines for product efficiency. The higher the number, the more efficiently your furnace operates. The 95.1 AFUE rating, which means that the furnace functions at or above 95% efficiency, is one of the highest ratings available on gas furnaces today. A high efficiency system uses less energy than lower efficiency units and can save you money on your utility bills.

Why Upgrade to a Two-Stage Variable Speed?
You can improve the air quality and temperature balance throughout your home by upgrading from a standard multi-speed blower to a Maytag variable speed blower. Unlike the multi-speed blower which is designed to operate at a fixed speed, the variable speed blower can run in a wide range of speeds adjusting them to deliver the right amount of airflow needed by your home comfort system. You may want to upgrade your furnace from a single-stage to a two-stage furnace with a variable speed blower if your home's temperature varies noticeably. The reason is a single-stage furnace is sized to deliver full heating capacity for the coldest of days and does not adjust for mild days, which results in noticeable temperature variations. A two-stage furnace with a variable speed blower reduces these temperature variations since it has both a low stage for mild days and a high stage for colder days. The air is circulated and filtered more often because the furnace runs more frequently. This option can also improve your outdoor air conditioning system efficiency.
